On-piste, Carven and Freeride
Previously, the monoski was mainly used to ski in powder snow because there were no wide skis available at the time. Carven and regular the piste were not seen as direct opportunity. The Snowgunz Alpine Rocket Series Monoski's, on the other hand, have been specially developed for:

Alpine Rocket Monoski Features:

The information we need is your:
- Weight in KG

- Skiing distance (entraxe) in cm
Please note that the distance between the shoe is 5mm for any expansion on the shoe. The entraxes are calculated from the center, the shaft, of the shoe.
I am giving it 5 out of 5 as it worked perfectly for me, but I don't think it is for everyone. I am skiing for 20+ years and was looking for something a little bit different. Monoski was a perfect fit for that. I took this one, as it was reasonably priced just to try something new.
The first run was a disaster and after the first day I was in pian. I think I was fighting with the board instead of working with that and there was literally nobody on the mountain with this kind of equipment to take a look on for any hints. At the end of the day I felt much better about what should I do to enjoy that and the following days were a lot of fun.
Added benefit is that some strangers approach you on the slope asking what are you skiing on.
Pros:
- different enough from skiing that you feel you are learning something, but close enough that you can get the idea in a day.
- new social interactions
- eyes on you (pro if you like it)
- Pro FX bindings are easy to use and feel rigid
Cons:
- hip in pain after the first day
- hard to get deep curve turn, I find it harder to balance on one board than on two, could be a matter of practice
Wow wat een geweldige Monoski. Dit is in 25 jaar tijd mijn 3e en het was de eerste uren even wennen, omdat ik geen carving gewend was. Maar na een paar uurtjes bleek dat met slechts het verplaatsen van het gewicht de monoski eigenlijk zelf de bocht maakte. Het kostte dus minder energie als dat ik gewend was. Wat ik gewoon niet snap is dat ik en mijn zoon, voorzover we het konden zien de enige mono-skiers waren Het is zeker niet moeilijker, dan wel makkelijker dan met 2 skies als je een beetje paralel kunt skien. De service van Wintersport4all was top met duidelijke communicatie en een mooi product. Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen.
